Meet the Reengagement Team
Monique, Manager of Reengagement Services
Hi! My name is Monique and I am from Denver, Colorado. Why Reengagement? Every young person should be provided the opportunity to explore school options and pursue their education. I look forward to supporting young people with understanding their options, sharing resources and providing opportunities that will impact their future. Fun fact? I have hiked a 14er (Grey’s Peak) to watch the sunrise. I primarily support all Reengagement Specialists in their outreach to students in the Denver and Englewood areas.
Rebbecka, Reengagement Specialist
Hey! My name is Rebbecka and I’m from Denver, Colorado. Why Reengagement? Because it gives me a chance to be a part of something that is so impactful and is shaping the future. Fun Fact? I have gone on The Giant Canyon Swing. A swing that goes off a cliff & places you directly above the Colorado River. I primarily support students in the Northeast region.
Chance, Truancy Reengagement Specialist
Hi! My name is Chance and I am from Houston, Texas. Why Reengagement? Because I wanted to do something that would give me the chance to make a positive impact in my community, and I strongly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn. Fun fact? I’ve never lived without a dog, and currently have a 3 year old Blue Heeler/Pit mix named Blue. I primarily support students in the Denver Metro area who are in middle school and those who are involved in truancy court.
Catherine, Reengagement Specialist
Hey! My name is Catherine, originally from Chicago, but raised here in Colorado. Why Reengagement? Because it gives me an opportunity to support youth with their educational journey, and I firmly believe education is an important tool for personal growth. Fun fact? I’ve worn a Sea Trek helmet that allowed me to walk 3.5 meters under the sea. I primarily support students in the West region.
Jose, Reengagement Specialist
Hi! My name is Jose and I was born and raised in Aurora Colorado with my family coming from Michaucan, Mexico. Why Reengagement? Because I wanted to do something that would give me the chance to make a positive impact in my community, and I strongly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn. Fun fact? I am allergic to all fur cats, dogs, cows, llamas, etc. Despite that I will still pet all fluffy animals. I primarily support students in the South region.
