Our AmeriCorps programs meet students PreK through 12th grade where they are with support in early literacy and numeracy, reading, math, and attendance and school engagement! Our goal is to empower every student to succeed and eventually graduate.

Young people need your support! Serve with one of our AmeriCorps programs and earn benefits while impacting lives of students in your community. No experience necessary! All we need are people passionate to their core about making a difference.

What’s At Your Core?

AmeriCorps members serve full-time in schools earning a monthly living allowance of $2,400, an education award upon successful completion of their term of service, and extremely valuable professional development within the education field.

Bring Our AmeriCorps Programs to Your School

Colorado Youth for a Change’s four AmeriCorps programs place members in schools across the state to support early learning, K-3rd grade reading, 4th-8th grade math, and high school attendance and engagement. Members serve full-time August through May, with possible later starts in October and January.
