Looking to go back to school? We’re here to help! CYC is a Denver nonprofit that supports youth (ages 11-20) who aren’t in school or are dealing with truancy. We support young people to enroll into a school or program that can meet their needs, including GED programs for students 17 and over.

Catherine, Reengagement Specialist
Hey! My name is Catherine, originally from Chicago, but raised here in Colorado. Why Reengagement? Because it gives me an opportunity to support youth with their educational journey, and I firmly believe education is an important tool for personal growth. Fun fact? I’ve worn a Sea Trek helmet that allowed me to walk 3.5 meters under the sea. I primarily support students in the West region.

Hey! My name is Rebbecka and I’m from Denver, Colorado. Why Reengagement? Because it gives me a chance to be a part of something that is so impactful and is shaping the future. Fun Fact? I have gone on The Giant Canyon Swing. A swing that goes off a cliff & places you directly above the Colorado River. I primarily support students in the Northeast region.

Hi! My name is Jose and I was born and raised in Aurora Colorado with my family coming from Michaucan, Mexico. Why Reengagement? Because I wanted to do something that would give me the chance to make a positive impact in my community, and I strongly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn. Fun fact? I am allergic to all fur cats, dogs, cows, llamas, etc. Despite that I will still pet all fluffy animals. I primarily support students in the South region.

I believe that serving students gives me the opportunity to create benefits that empower my community. Fun fact? I have swam with sharks in the Dominican Republic! I primarily support students in Englewood.

Hi! My name is Jenny and I am from Denver, Colorado with my family coming from Chihuahua, Mexico. Why Reengagement? Because every student deserves to have someone in their corner motivating and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. These students are our future, and I believe being able to make even the slightest impact on them can create a ripple effect. Fun fact? I love to travel, and I even got the opportunity to travel to a new city to be on a Reality TV show. I primarily support students in the Central Region.

I traveled for a year to 6 different countries doing non profit work with the organization World Race. I primarily support truancy-connected students.
