This year’s comedian: Sam Adams
On pages and stages, Sam Adams wins over audiences with his hilarious, profanity-free style of comedy and storytelling.
Sam’s entertainment career began at age 49, shortly after winning prizes at the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival. The “True Color” video clip from Sam’s 2018 Dry Bar Comedy special has generated over 40 million social media views worldwide.
Prior to his career in standup comedy, Sam Adams was a Denver, Colorado-based sports journalist who covered many high-profile sporting events — from Super Bowls to the Olympics. In 2019 he was inducted to the Hall of Fame for the prestigious Denver Press Club.
